The privacy screen is available in various sizes. Length: available in 2 m, 3 m, and 5 m rolls. Height: 90 cm or 110 cm. The material can be finished in three ways: untreated, oiled, or glazed.

Surface treatment

You can choose from the following three options:

• Natural, untreated bamboo: With a natural look, recommended only for indoor use or if you prefer to treat the material yourself.
• Wood-oiled: Moderately weather-resistant, offers protection against mild moisture, recommended for covered areas that are mainly open but where bamboo will not be directly exposed to rain.
• Glazed treatment: Provides the best outdoor protection, resistant to rain and sunlight.

How often should you treat the balcony privacy screen to prevent mold?

It depends on the orientation of your balcony. For a south-facing terrace, every two years is recommended; for other orientations, every three to four years.

Materials

The bamboo privacy screen is produced from three types of materials:

• BC30 – The rods overlap, making the material thicker and blocking out the outside completely; brown in color.
• BC09 – Medium thickness, alternating one brown bamboo strip with three light bamboo rods, giving a natural look; silhouettes are visible.
• BC13 – Medium thickness, alternating one brown bamboo strip with three brown bamboo rods, for a lighter appearance; silhouettes are visible.

Easy installation

The bamboo privacy screen can be easily fixed to various surfaces. You can use string or cable ties to ensure stable attachment. Attached to a fence, railing, or other support system, it is a reliable shading solution in the long term.

Further uses of the fence privacy screen

In places where the material does not need to be moved or have the ends boarded, only fixed shading is required. For example, it is also suitable as an awning when placed under a transparent plexiglass or glass roof.
