The word marquetry in Arabic means insertion. It is for decoration of various wooden surfaces, which is achieved with wooden insert elements and veneers in such a way that the developed surface is in one plane. The raw material used for this purpose is veneer in thicknesses of 0.6 and 0.8 mm, respectively. The veneers are extracted from various wooden logs by a rotating process or slicing.
