No special tools are needed for installation. All you need are easily available items: sandpaper, wood glue (D2 or D3), and something to press down the carvings during drying. Steps for gluing: it is recommended to sand the back of the ornament before gluing, and, if possible, also prepare the surface by sanding. Apply glue to both pre-sanded, dust-free surfaces and spread it evenly. Then, simply press the two surfaces together for the drying period. This can be done in several ways: using a joiner's clamp or pressing with weights. If some glue seeps out around the carving, we recommend wiping it with a slightly damp cloth before it dries. It is advisable to wait for full drying, which may take 12–24 hours, after which the clamp or press can be removed.
Our carvings are available pre-sanded and untreated. This way, you can match the attached ornaments to the style of your furniture with the right finishing treatment. Whether it's paint, oil, lacquer, or stain, it is always advisable to clean and degrease the surface of the carvings before finishing for the best result. Oiled, lacquered, and stained surfaces each highlight the wood grain to varying degrees. Painting covers the wood's color and grain, helping the carving blend into the color of your furniture.

The vine patterns appearing on the ornaments symbolize connection to nature, life, and fertility. In ancient Greek and Roman cultures, for instance, grape motifs, especially vines, often appeared on carvings, columns, and architectural elements. This motif carried symbolism related to life, abundance, fertility, and the god Dionysus (Bacchus). In Europe, grape and vine motifs became widespread in Gothic, especially in churches, furniture crosses, and altars, richly decorating these artifacts with symbolism.
