How can wooden onlays be glued on?

Our wooden carvings can be easily applied to any wood or wood-covered flat surface. First, sand the back of the carving and the surface to receive it, then thoroughly clean both from dust. Next, apply woodworking glue in a thin, even layer to both surfaces and press them together. Any excess glue should be wiped off with a damp cloth before it dries to prevent marks. Use a joiner's clamp or weight to press the two surfaces together during drying, which can take up to 24 hours.

What surface treatment methods can be applied on ornaments?

Before starting any surface treatment, ensure that the surface is free of dust and grease. Varnishing, staining, oiling, and waxing can highlight the wood grain patterns. If staining, it’s recommended to use a filler primer first to avoid tonal differences. Opaque paint can be used to match the ornamentation to the color of the furniture being created.
