Natertrend Shop produces custom size blinds from five types of raw materials. We can choose from four types of designs (mechanics). The mechanics of all four designs include a brake, so the custom bamboo blinds can be stopped at any height.

All our bamboo roller blinds made to measure can be made with a left- or right-hand pull cord.

How to choose bamboo blind material?

The raw materials for the bamboo blinds can be divided into two groups:

80-90% light blocking: BC 28 and BC 30.

70-80% light blocking: BC 09, BC 12, BC 13 and C1C.

The eye adapts quickly to changing light conditions, so you may easily perceive them as brighter than indicated

value indicated.

Mechanism: 1G Roll-up traditional bamboo blinds with visible mechanics Basic price product. Attention! Made to measure, these window bamboo shades can be safely manufactured up to a length of 180 cm. Of course, we can also make them in a larger, longer version at the customer's request and responsibility. But in this case we cannot offer guarantee!

Mechanism: 2G Window coverings for privacy with hidden mechanisms The material of the blind rolls from bottom to top. Basic price product to which the price of the 10-cm material covering the mechanism is added as an additional cost. We also recommend it for large extra wide or extra long bamboo blinds.

Mechanism: 3G Bamboo blind with reinforced slats without skirt The material of bamboo blinds rolls from bottom to top. Basic price product. It is the same as the 2g, but it does not have a skirt, so the mechanics are visible. We also recommend it for large extra wide or extra long bamboo blinds.

Mechanism: 2R Bamboo Roman blinds or you may also know them as rafter blinds with hidden mechanics. The material of the bamboo blinds does not roll when pulled up, but folds. Since production is time-consuming, we charge a per-piece assembly fee in addition to the cost of the 10-cm material covering the mechanism. Attention: Bamboo Roman blinds are not recommended for lengths greater than 1.5 meters!

Bamboo blind materials are not surface treated. The material without surface treatment is not suitable for outdoor use. In order to be able to use it as an outdoor bamboo blind, it must be treated with wood oil on both sides (for example, with Sadolin Garden furniture wood oil). We are also available with our wood oil treatment service.

Importan notice! We do not recommend varnishing bamboo blinds, as it hardens the weaving threads and makes it impossible to roll them up.

We also undertake the production of bamboo blinds from 2nd class raw materials. The second-class material is a little more variegated (non-uniform color) or has a looser weave. Second-class bamboo blinds are not always available in all sizes and types.

Bamboo blinds as slanted blinds

We undertake the production of not only right-angled blinds, but also slanted or curved blinds. Old blinds usually have a 20% production markup. Enter the two largest dimensions of the blind on the customer interface. This will show you an approximate price which is correct 95% of the time. To request a quote and place an order, please send exact dimensions and a drawing by email. We will confirm the exact price based on the drawing.

For those blinds with an angle of inclination greater than 30 degrees, noguaranteed that the automatic brake will work. In this case the blindcan be raised/lowered, but it can only be fixed by tying the cord.

Important! We will send you a 10*10cm sample of all bamboo blind products completely free of charge and without obligation. Please take advantage of this opportunity. Bamboo is a natural material, color differences are possible between individual shipments, and the monitor may not fully reproduce the colors faithfully. It is safest if you are in control of the material. If you do not request a sample, we cannot accept a complaint due to a difference in color shade.

The typical production time for bamboo blinds is 5-10 working days. It depends on the number of orders. Added to this is the delivery time, which can be found in the confirmation of the order process.

These bamboo blinds are unique, they will be manufactured to the size you specify. Thus, we can only start production after the payment has been made! There is no cash on delivery option.
