Rectangular vase-shaped beechwood couch leg

The LBL-53 rectangular furniture legs with a vase-like design give the lower part of the furniture a discreet yet distinctive appearance. The decorative groove on the upper part serves as a fine accent, while the solid beech material offers secure, stable support. The 15 cm height is especially suitable where moderate elevation is needed, in case of furniture restoration. Thanks to the natural surface, it is easy to personalize with any finish; and like other furniture legs, it can be replaced simply.

What can the LBL-53 be used for?

The LBL-53 is an ideal choice for furniture where discreet yet stable support is needed—for example, wooden bed legs, dresser feet, cocktail table legs, or armchair legs replacement. The rectangular vase shape suits both classic and modern furniture, while the natural finish allows flexible finishing.

How can the furniture legs be attached?

With wood dowel pin: First, drill a hole at the top of the leg that exactly matches the diameter of the dowel pin. A hole of the same size is needed in the base of the furniture for the dowel pin to fit. Apply wood glue to both holes. Insert the dowel pin into the hole in the leg, then into the furniture. After the glue cures, the leg will be completely stable and the joint remains aesthetic as no visible part shows. Through-bolt attachment: With the through-bolt method, it is important to drill a properly sized hole at the bottom of the furniture. Drill a hole in the center of the leg as well. Then, simply drive the screw from inside the furniture outward or downward so the couch leg is attached to the base of the piece.

How can the surface of the furniture legs be treated?

This product is sold in a natural, unfinished state. Its surface can be painted, stained, or lacquered according to your preference. For best results, combine wood stain and satin varnish after fine sanding to bring out the shape and the wood grain. Apply treatments in several thin layers to a dust-free surface.
