Our carvings can be easily adhered to any wooden or wood-covered flat surface, with no need for specialist joiner expertise! As a first step, sand the back of the wooden ornament and the receiving surface, then clean both thoroughly. Then apply a thin, even layer of wood glue to both surfaces and join them together. Wipe off any excess glue with a damp cloth before it dries to avoid traces. Clamp or weight the joined area during the drying period, which may take up to 24 hours.
Before applying any surface treatment, ensure that the carving’s surface is dust and grease-free. Lacquering, glazing, staining, oiling, and waxing highlight the wood grain pattern. For glazing, it may be worth considering using a primer to avoid differences in tone. With topcoat paint, you can match the color of the pyramid to your furniture.
Its clean lines suggest harmony and balance, so it is frequently used on both classical and modern furniture. The pyramid shape has always symbolized strength and solid foundations, which brings a special effect to furniture. Among the decorative elements available from Naturtrend, you will find this timeless symbol as well.
