All mouldings available in our webshop can be easily glued to any flat surface. The gluing process is simple enough for any cabinetmaker to complete with ease. First, ensure the receiving surface is dust- and grease-free, and slightly sanded for optimal adhesive grip. Next, apply a thin, even layer of wood glue to the back of the moulding and press it onto the surface. Clamp the parts together firmly during drying. If nailing, use fine wire nails or brads that are thin enough not to split the wood. Fill the nail head spots with wood filler.
Our selection only includes solid, untreated wooden products in a natural finish. This allows everyone to paint, varnish, oil, or stain them to match their personal style. Staining, oiling, varnishing, and waxing enhance the natural grain pattern of beechwood. Painting allows you to completely cover the wood grain and original color for a uniform, colored finish.
The alternation of three short and one elongated motif is a prime example of geometric and rhythmic decorative artistry. This point-and-line rhythm is rooted in classical frieze patterns and yet creates a modern, almost abstract effect—evoking the dynamism of Morse code. The playful border pattern provides unique character and visual rhythm to furniture, preserving elegance without overwhelming the space.
