The wooden corner moulding in our offer can be easily finished. First, shake the wood oil thoroughly and apply it evenly to the entire surface of the moulding with a clean cloth or brush. Leave it for fifteen minutes to allow the wood to absorb the oil. Then wipe off the excess with a new dry cloth to maintain a smooth and even finish. Complete drying takes approximately 24 hours.
There are two proven methods for fastening the cornice for ceiling: gluing or nailing. When gluing, it is recommended to use wood adhesive for long-lasting installation. If you prefer nailing, it is advisable to use small wire nails or brads, as their thin shape does not split the wood. It's recommended to coat the nail heads with carpenter's filler for a smooth and aesthetic finish. Attention: it's important that the mouldings fit precisely and tightly against the surface for a flawless result.
The half-circle pattern is one of the oldest and most commonly used motifs in furniture decoration. With its rhythmic repetition, this decorative style creates a harmonious and orderly effect on the furniture's surface. It often appears in carved, painted, or inlaid form, especially on folk furniture and pieces in classical style. The semicircular shapes may resemble the sun, flowers, or waves, conveying natural symbolism. With this motif, craftsmen express not only aesthetic beauty but also the continuity of tradition and artisanal knowledge.
