The "C" type wooden trim is produced with a stylized lace pattern, making it an attractive choice for both classic and children's furniture. It is made from plywood, ensuring stability and easy workability. As window trim moulding and wood door trim molding, it provides an aesthetically pleasing finish to furniture or window and door frames.
The trim dimensions: width ranges from 2 cm to 5.5 cm, length from 59.4 cm to 85.8 cm, thickness from 0.22 cm to 0.35 cm, available in several sizes. The laser-cut wooden trim features a lace row decoration. When ordering multiple trims, we cannot guarantee that the pattern will line up seamlessly from piece to piece without cuts. Therefore, please allow some extra length for a perfect join. Made from birch plywood. Birch is a soft and lightweight wood, which is easy to work with. Decorative wooden mouldings made from plywood are easy to finish. They can be lacquered or painted, making them easy to highlight or blend in during furniture making or restoration. The trims are supplied unfinished.
The scallop wood trim made from plywood is easy to handle yet strong. Finishing is simple: it can be painted or lacquered, so it fits any color scheme. The thin plywood adapts well even to curved or not perfectly even surfaces.
The decorative wooden mouldings can be secured with small nails, wood glue, or fast-setting adhesive (such as when attaching to a wall). For smaller pieces, fast-setting adhesive works well, providing secure bonding with a short drying time. Always dust the surfaces before gluing to ensure better adhesion. When nailing, use small-diameter nails (such as brads) to prevent the trim from splitting and to achieve a neat finish.
The C type scallop wood trim can be lacquered, painted, or even treated with wood oil. Lacquering enhances the grain of the wood, while painting can be matched to the color of your furniture. Always dust surfaces before use. Lacquered or painted decorative wooden mouldings will be more resistant to wear and moisture.
When shipping the trims, a bamboo stick is packed alongside to protect the product during transport. This does not incur any additional cost for you. This is an eco-friendly solution, as bamboo is a rapidly growing natural material. Later, you can even reuse the stick as a plant support.
Unfortunately, decorative wooden mouldings cannot be packed together with almost anything else due to their length and thinness.
Lace patterns became popular in furniture decoration during the 18th and 19th centuries, especially on furnishings for women's salons and bedrooms. Lace evokes the style of hand embroidery, so this version of trim brings elegance and a sense of lightness. Cabinetmaker masters often used them on drawer fronts, door frames, and cabinet faces. The C type scallop wood trim continues this tradition, produced with modern technology.
