Let it sit for a few minutes so the wood can absorb the oil, which enhances its pattern. Finally, wipe off the excess with another clean, dry cloth to prevent any possible dripping. The drying time for the treated surface is about one day. In kitchen joiner workshops, transparent glaze is most often used to highlight the grain. For home renovations, it's advisable to apply two thin coats of paint for durability and an even finish.
