Furniture decoration with grape motif
Grapes are one of our oldest cultivated plants. Dionysus, the Greek god personifying wine and intoxication, wore a wreath of grape leaves on his head, held a wine glass and a long vintage staff decorated with grape leaves. Dionysus is synonymous with cheerfulness and vitality, so the grapes that remind him also evoke this. The carved wooden ornaments embellished with grape motifs have become an indispensable element for the intimate, cozy furnishings of the wine cellar, inn, and wine bar.
These ancient patterns and their meaning are passed down from generation to generation in the form of wood carvings and furniture appliques. Grape decorations are suitable decorative elements for wine cellars or cellars. But the wine ornament, which can be placed symmetrically (on the right and on the left) is also a good choice when refurbishing old furniture. Such furniture mouldings can even be used for furniture making, so you can create completely new furniture pieces with their help. They are made of natural exotic wood, so they can be freely painted and varnished.
