How can I fasten the trim moldings?

All trim moldings available in our webshop can be easily glued to any wood or wood-covered surface. The adhesive application process is simple—even a hobby cabinetmaker can do it easily. First, make sure the surface is dust and grease-free and lightly sanded for best adhesion. Next, apply a thin, even layer of woodworking glue to the back of the trim molding and press it onto the surface. Hold the wooden trim moulding tightly to the surface with a clamp until dry. If you choose to nail, use small wire nails or brads. These are thin enough not to split the material. Fill the nail head holes with woodworking putty.

What kinds of finishes can be used on wooden trim moulding?

Only natural, untreated solid wood products are available in our stock. So everyone may paint, varnish, oil, or stain our products to match their style. Staining, oiling, varnishing, or waxing can enhance the wood grain's pattern. Painting can completely cover the wood grain and its original color. The latter is recommended when you want to achieve a uniform, colored surface.
