The base material is exotic (rubber) wood. Rubberwood has ecological advantages since it is made as a byproduct of rubber plantations, qualifying as a recycled material. How can wood carved appliques be attached?

First, sand the back of the wood ornament and the surface it will be attached to, then thoroughly remove all dust from both parts. Evenly apply a thin layer of wood glue to both prepared surfaces. Precisely join the two parts together. While drying, secure them with a clamp or press them together with a heavy object. If glue seeps out at the sides, immediately wipe it off with a damp cloth. For a strong bond, allow the recommended 24-hour drying time.
