This wood carving is available in several sizes. The dimensions: width from 5 cm to 10 cm, height from 5 cm to 10 cm, thickness from 0.7 cm to 1 cm. The size tolerance is plus or minus 3%. The square-shaped rosette is decorated with acanthus leaf motifs and floral patterns. Its material is exotic wood. It offers ecological advantages as it is made from by-products of rubber plantations, making it a recycled material. Thanks to its medium hardness, it provides appropriate durability, yet it is easy to work and carve. Its light, creamy color base pairs well with other wood types and it accepts various finishing techniques superbly. This product is not pre-finished.

How can wood corner molding be installed?

For decorating furniture, we recommend using wood glue. This gluing technique has a very simple process and requires no special tools. First, sand the back of the wood corner molding, if necessary, and the receiving surface, then remove any dust thoroughly. Then, apply an even, thin layer of wood glue to both surfaces and press them together. Clamp the two pieces with a carpenter's clamp or press, and wipe away any excess glue with a damp cloth before it dries. Drying time can be up to 24 hours; it's recommended to keep them clamped during this period.

What finishing techniques can be used for wood carvings?

Thanks to the beneficial qualities of exotic wood, any finishing method is easily accepted. This way, the decoration of furniture can result in a perfectly uniform outcome. The wood grain can be highlighted with lacquer, glaze, wax, oil, or stain. By painting, the wooden onlay it can be matched to the colors of your home and furniture. Since our carvings are pre-sanded, you only need to ensure their surface is free of dust and grease before finishing.
