The size of the carving is: width from 6cm to 20cm, height from 6cm to 20cm, thickness from 0.7cm to 0.9cm, available in several sizes. Its size tolerance is plus or minus 3%. The decorative wood moulding features a floral pattern. Its material is exotic wood (rubber wood). Rubber wood is a sustainable material derived from the secondary use of rubber trees, making it an excellent choice from an environmental perspective. Its medium-hard structure ensures sufficient durability, while it is also easy to work and carve. Its natural light hue provides a neutral base for all types of surface finishing – from paint to stains and wax. This product is unfinished.
With this carving, available in our selection, cabinet repair becomes faster and easier as the pre-formed designs simplify the decoration process. These pre-carved decorative wood moulding pieces allow for decorating with more intricate, spectacular designs as well. Another advantage is that they provide a unique appearance, making each restored piece special. Our cabinetmaker product range includes a variety of rossette with floral pattern!
Today, the rossette is a popular choice for making or restoring furniture. It is perfect for cabinet repair, as it lends a unique character to the furniture as a decorative motif. This uniquely styled cabinet, for example, was made special with decorative wood moulding. Its symmetry makes it an excellent focal point: it breaks up monotone surfaces while highlighting important details on doors or drawers. A finely carved wood rossette is not just beautiful, but also reflects the craftsmanship's exquisite attention to detail.
Naturtrend carvings are made from real, solid wood, ensuring you receive a durable and quality product. Thanks to their smooth surface, these are immediately ready for painting or staining. Our selection includes a variety of well-known classic motifs—such as Baroque or Rococo styles—which are a great fit for cabinet repair. You can choose from several sizes, so it is easy to find the piece that best matches your furniture.
Proper preparation is important for gluing decorative wood moulding elements. First, gently sand the area on the furniture to receive the piece, then thoroughly remove the dust. Then, apply a thin, even layer of wood glue to both sides. Carefully position the pieces where you want them, then press and clamp them together until dry. If glue seeps out, wipe it off immediately with a damp cloth before it dries on the wood.
Our wooden carvings arrive unfinished, giving you complete freedom during restoration. You can paint, varnish, or stain them to best match your furniture’s style. For example, a coat of varnish offers durable protection, while painting brings out the details beautifully. The choice is yours—create the result exactly as you envisioned!
This is a circular pattern that often resembles a flower, the sun, or a star. Its shape, evoking nature, symbolizes growth, renewal, and the cycle of life. Its circular form represents completeness, unity, and harmony, while its radial structure symbolizes the sun’s energy and light. Historically, it also had a protective function, serving as an amulet against evil spirits. In the art of furniture decoration, these meanings endure, enhancing the ambiance and aesthetic balance of the living space.
This product goes beyond its purely decorative role, also carrying cultural messages. It has different meanings in various cultures: in Western tradition it symbolizes perfection and harmony, while in Eastern cultures it stands for cosmic balance and the cycles of nature. Thus, rossette used in furniture decoration provide not only aesthetic value, but also convey cultural identity and worldviews. A piece of furniture adorned with a rossette is more than an object of use: it is a work of art that preserves and passes on values across generations. In furniture decoration, it combines functionality, aesthetics, and cultural meaning as a universal element, ensuring its timeless appeal.
