This product is made of rattan material UK (rotang palm). It can be found crawling both on the ground and on trees in shady, humid jungles. It has no crown, and its leaves are scattered. The stem developing in a longitudinal direction beneath its tough bark can reach up to 200–300 meters in length. Rattan material UK has a capillary structure along its length. The pedig is made from the inner part of the rattan plant, which is the base material for the round rattan diffuser stick. This pedig cane is cut into arbitrary sized (usually 20–30 cm long) pieces and is then sold as sticks, which can be used as reed diffuser sticks or for various craft ideas.
