It is important that the surfaces to be treated are always clean and dust-free. By using lacquer, stain, dye, waxing, or oiling, the wood grain can be enhanced. What is the process for gluing wooden carvings?
As the first step of gluing, sand the receiving surface and thoroughly remove dust. Next, apply a thin layer of wood adhesive to both surfaces and join them precisely. Wipe off any excess glue on the sides with a damp cloth so that there will be no trace left after drying. During drying, press the two surfaces together with a woodworking clamp or weight.
