NOTE: For no drill roller blinds installation, you need either ROLKA 1, ROLKA 2, or ROLKA 3 mounting brackets, which must be ordered separately.

How does the roman bamboo blind differ from other blinds?

The roman bamboo blind is unique because its fabric folds instead of rolling. This design gives a more aesthetic look because the mechanism remains hidden. Because production takes more time, bamboo roman blinds UK are somewhat more expensive than standard bamboo roller blinds. Besides the cost of 10 cm of covering fabric for the mechanism, an extra installation fee of 10% of the base price is charged. ATTENTION: The roman bamboo blind is not recommended for lengths over 1.5 meters! Which bamboo blinds made to measure material has the highest shading capacity?

That depends on where the bamboo blinds will be installed. If you want to install it horizontally or at a slight angle (up to 45 degrees), the BC-30 is the best option. This is because the slightly overlapping slats almost completely block sunlight from above. For vertical shading, the BC-12, BC-13, or BC-09 are more suitable options, as well as the C1C for indoor use. These types filter angled incoming light more efficiently. For horizontal shading, the BC28 material type is also a good choice, but only for indoor use.

How should you measure the custom size window shades?

Accurate measurement of your bamboo blinds made to measure is crucial, as production is based on these values. Always measure the width and height in centimeters with one decimal place for precision. A bamboo roller blind made from BC09 material can be as large as 200x220 cm, since BC09 has a maximum width of 240 cm. IMPORTANT: When installing, always leave enough space at the top for the rolled-up blind.

Here, the top slats are placed at an angle, while the other three sides are the same as traditional bamboo blinds. Please note that this type of roller blind cannot be raised completely, only to the lower point of the slanted section. For this, the required width and lengths of the two sides must be provided. To manufacture these accurately, you must provide a drawing. In your drawing, show the side where you will stand when pulling up the blind and mark which side the cord should be on. TIP: For easier operation, it is advisable to have the cord on the longer side of the blinds. IMPORTANT: For surfaces steeper than 30°, the automatic brake may not work reliably; stopping will have to be done manually.

It is possible to purchase bamboo blinds made to measure from second-class materials. The advantage is that second-class bamboo roller blinds are available at a better price. Small aesthetic flaws and differences may occur on these second-class roller blinds. For example, the blind width may vary by ±3 mm, the edge heights may differ by 2 cm per meter, slats may twist slightly, color may be uneven, and the end slats may be slightly curved.
