Mechanics: 2R Bamboo Roman blind (raffrollo) with concealed mechanism The bamboo blind material folds (rather than rolling up in the traditional way) when raised. The mechanism is covered by a skirt. This hides the mechanism. You do not need to take this into account when specifying the dimensions of the blind! As the manufacturing process is more time-consuming than for other types of mechanisms, it is more expensive. Please note: this mechanism is not recommended for blinds taller than 1.5 meters!

The BC-28 material shades both surfaces effectively, but is recommended only for interior use.

Bamboo roman blinds differ from traditional blinds mainly in that the material does not roll up but folds neatly. This solution provides a sleek appearance and fully conceals the mechanism. Manufacturing is more complex and time-consuming, which is why the price of bamboo roman blinds is higher compared to traditional window coverings. Alongside the cost of the 10 cm of fabric covering the mechanism, an installation fee of 10% of the base price is charged. It is important to note that for blinds longer than 1.5 meters, the roman blind design is not recommended. For example, if the planned bamboo blinds are 200x220 cm, it is unfortunately not recommended to order them as bamboo roman blinds UK.

Taking accurate measurements for custom size window shades is extremely important, as manufacturing is based solely on these details. Width and height must always be measured in centimeters to one decimal point. Bamboo roller blinds made from the BC30 material can be as wide as 200x220 cm, since the maximum width for this material is 240 cm. IMPORTANT: Always leave enough space at the top for the roller blind to roll up during installation.

Angled bamboo roller blinds for indoors

We manufacture not only rectangular but also angled bamboo roller blinds UK. Please note that this type of roller blind cannot be raised completely, only to the lower point of the slanted section. For this, you'll need to provide width and the heights of both the long and short sides. On your drawing, represent the blind from that side where you will stand when pulling up the blind, and indicate which edge the cord should be on. TIP: Place the cord on the longer side for more convenient use. IMPORTANT: For surfaces steeper than 30°, the automatic brake may not work; in these cases, secure the blind manually.
