Which blind material provide the best light control?

The slightly overlapping slats almost entirely block direct sunlight arriving perpendicularly. For vertical shading, BC-12, BC-13, or BC-09 fabrics are recommended. These options filter light coming in at an angle from above more efficiently. C1C and BC28 work excellently for both horizontal and vertical shading, so you can't go wrong with either material. Horizontal surface? BC-30, BC28, or C1C. Vertical surface? BC-12, BC-13, BC-09, BC28, or C1C.

Can outdoor blinds be made from BC28 material?

NO, unfortunately, this material is NOT suitable for that purpose. The reason is that the fibers are so densely woven, oil or thin wood stain cannot be applied.

In addition to the cost of the 10 cm covering material for the mechanism, a 10% installation fee is added to the base price. If the length of the blinds exceeds 150 cm, we do not recommend this type. IMPORTANT: BC28 material is woven so densely that bamboo roman blinds CANNOT be made from it!

Width and height should always be measured in centimeters, to one decimal point accuracy. IMPORTANT: When installing, leave enough space at the top for the blinds to roll up!

We can manufacture not only rectangular but also slanted custom made window shades. Here, the upper slat is angled while the other three sides are the same as a standard bamboo blinds UK. Please note that this type of blinds cannot be fully raised, only up to the lower point of the slanted part. For this, you will need the following measurements: width and the two side lengths. For precise manufacturing, please provide a drawing. In the drawing, depict the blinds from the side where you will stand when raising them and indicate which side the cord should be placed on. Tip: It is best to place the cord on the longer side for more comfortable use. Important: On surfaces steeper than 30°, the automatic brake may not function properly; in such cases, the blinds must be held in place manually.

It is possible to request blinds produced from second-class materials. The advantage is that second-class versions are available at more affordable prices. Second-class blinds may feature minor imperfections or differences, with only one or at most two of the below flaws present on each product. For example: width deviation of ±3 mm, edge height variance of 2 cm/m, slightly twisted slats, uneven color, and slightly curved end slats.
